The food was excellent, this place reminds me of some of my favorite places in Mexico. Freshly made Jamaica was a wonderful addition to the dish.
Amazing tacos they taste very authentic !!!! Service was amazingly fast and they are always try their hardest to make sure you leave there happy !! ¡Increíbles tacos que saben muy auténticos! ¡El servicio fue increíblemente rápido y siempre hacen todo lo posible para asegurarse de que te vayas feliz!
Victoria's Taqueria is one of the few places in Lake Charles where you can get food that tastes like it does in Mexico. The flavors, the preparation, the salsas, the simplicity (no need to garnish every plate with shredded iceberg lettuce and cheddar cheese product, only lime, onion, cilantro, and salt on their tacos) all reminded me of Mexico. I can't wait for them to reopen! Hopefully they will stay true to their roots and not go in the direction of most Mexican restaurants--Victoria's taught Lake Charles what a street taco should taste like!
The most authentic menudo you will have in Lake Charles. Spicy and full of flavor !! Sad that it's only served on Saturdays. The homemade tortillas are excellent as well. If you like authentic Mexican food you won't be disappointed !
This place has authentic Mexican delicious food. The lengua tacos are my favorite. The Menudo has a tasty flavor but spicy. Good spicy. When visiting lake Charles we will definitely be stopping here!
It's a small place and was only serving from the take-out window due to COVID. I ordered 2 tacos on flour tortillas. One potato & egg & one of chicharrón. The tortillas were hand made and a fairly large size. The tacos were well filled and flavorful. The chicharrón was spicy enough to pack a kick and still be enjoyable. Overall, it was good but nothing spectacular. The prices were fair for what you get served. I would go by again if I was hungry & in the area. The staff was friendly and gave me extra napkins when I asked for a few because I was driving back home and didn't have any in my car.
Quite simply the most authentic Mexican tacos in all of Southwest Louisiana. Just go!
